Soccer Registration FAQ’s

1. Season runs from May 1 to June 23 (eight weeks) with a windup on Sat June 23.
   
2. Last year, every team in the Pre-school through Grade 5/6 categories was scheduled to play 2 games per week and that will be our goal this year.
   
3. The teams will probably play on the following nights; however, we cannot guarantee this.
   
   Pre-school(4/5 year olds) - Mon, Wed (6:30, 7:15)
   Kindergarten - Tues, Thurs (6:30, 7:15)
   Grade 1 and 2 - Mon, Wed (6:30, 7:30)
   If we have more than 8 teams, we would
   also have games on Thursdays
   Grade 3 and 4 - Mon, Tues,Wed,Thurs (6:30, 7:30)
   Grade 5 and 6 - Mon, Tues,Wed,Thurs (6:15, 7:30)
   
4. Fields are as follows: (subject to change but unlikely to change)
   
   Pre-school (4/5 year olds) - Qu’Appelle Fields (Parker and Pells)
   Kindergarten - Qu’Appelle Fields (Parker and Pells)
   Grade 1 and 2 - Qu’Appelle Fields (Parker and Pells)
   Grade 3 and 4 - St. Matthew’s School
   Grade 5 and 6 - Richardson Park
   
5. Special requests are limited to one per player and cannot be guaranteed.
   
6. 3-year olds will be administered by Albert Park Community Association; They generally play on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 at Arlington Park (near Southland Mall). Each team plays two games per week.
   
7. Grade 7/8/9 teams will be administered by Albert Park Community Association; last year, they had enough teams to allow them to play all of their games in the South End. If they don’t get enough players, they may have to play an interlocking schedule with teams from the West Zone.
   
8. Grade 10/11/12 teams will be administered by Albert Park Community Association. They play an interlocking schedule with teams from the West Zone.
